Standard Day Program – $80/day

Premium Day Program – $90/day
- Everything in the Standard Day Program
- Extra hands-on support with personal care as needed
- Added caregiver check-ins and care coordination
This package is ideal for members who need help with incontinence care, medication reminders/assistance, and feeding assistance.
Drop-In Care – $95/day
- Flexible, as-needed daytime care
- Ideal for appointments, errands, or caregiver breaks

Meet Our Founder
Home Away- Because everyday should feel like family
Home Away Senior Daycare was founded by Takeila Weatherspoon, RN, a registered nurse with more than 15 years of hands-on experience in healthcare. Throughout her career, she has cared for countless seniors and their families in the Mid-South and has seen firsthand how difficult it can be to balance safety, independence, and quality of life for aging loved ones.
Takeila created Home Away Senior Daycare to fill a critical gap in the community—a safe, social, and affordable daytime option for seniors who don’t need a nursing home, but can’t be left at home alone. Her vision is to build a program that feels like an extension of home, where every member is known by name, treated with dignity, and given opportunities to socialize, participate in meaningful activities, and receive gentle support throughout the day.
Rooted in her nursing background and deep compassion for older adults, Takeila is committed to opening a center that families can trust and seniors can look forward to attending.
